ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other duties may be assigned) Responsibilities Include but not limited to: • The Trailer Mechanic is responsible for timely repair and maintenance of heavy-duty fleet trailers to ensure a safe and efficient operation. The Trailer Mechanic position requires high level of proficiency and working knowledge related to trailers, and dollies. • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to trailers, and dollies. • Perform services to anti-lock brakes, wheel end, welding, electrical, brakes, minor body work, and roll- up doors. • Must have valid Driver's License - Class C • Computer Savvy. • Must provide own hand tools and toolbox. • Ability to move and position heavy objects. • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl to repair vehicles. • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions. • Other duties may be assigned.
